Our vacation rental home is at Bear Lake, Utah in Harbor Village Resort. We're less than a mile up the shore from the center of Garden City, Utah. It's about two and a half hours from Salt Lake City. Harbor Village is just across Bear Lake Boulevard from the Utah State Marina. It’s about a five minute walk to the beach and marina, and a few more minutes across the beach to the water’s edge.
Harbor Village has a nice restaurant, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an indoor kid pool and hot tub, and a landscaped pond area. It is right at the trail head of hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails.
The vacation home sleeps 21. It was totally remodelled in 2008 and decorated by a professional interior designer. It has totally clear views of the lake. On the second floor are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a King bed, a balcony that overlooks the outdoor pool and a large closet that we also use as a baby's room. The kids' bedroom has two bunk beds that are Twin on the top and Double on the bottom. The third bedroom has a Queen bed.
The main floor has a bathroom, a very large kitchen and dining room, a patio with a gas grill, and a living room. The living room is two stories high, has a gas fireplace, an HDTV, and two sofas including a Queen hide-a-bed.
The basement has a bathroom with a jetted tub, a nice laundry room, a bedroom with a Queen bed, and a great room with three Double futons and an extra futon mattress.
The house is well air conditioned and heated. There is a TV for each bedroom, and there are two refrigerators.
The outdoor pool is right next to our patio, but is surrounded by a locking gate that you will have a key to. There is an acre or two of lawn in back, between our vacation house and our two-bedroom condo.
